Pause: A Crucifixion Type Love

Love has been defined by many but fulfilled by few. I went o a Spoken Life even at my church last Friday night, and the poet Brent Rice blew me away with his interpretation of Love. He emphatically stated he wanted a crucifixion type love-one where HE deliberately dies to himself for new life with another. I went to the event with a man of God I have been dating for a couple of weeks- and it was an interesting set of words to sit under on a 5th date. But I for one am an avid fan of setting High Expectations ;-)
